Although extemporaneous jamming was a hallmark of Rory’s live performances, he was a perfectionist in the studio. Often recording into the early morning, doing take after take, Rory strove for perfection when committing his music to record. As Rory’s career as a musician progressed, Rory again assumed the lead in the studio, employing his own techniques as well as incorporating many of the unique guitars and amps from his collection.
