Rory Statue Unveiling, Dublin 2006

A Rory Gallagher Guitar Sculpture was unveiled at a free outdoor public ceremony at 8.30pm on Friday 16th June 2006at Rory Gallagher Corner, Meeting House Square, Temple Bar Dublin 2.

Very Special Guests unveiling the statue were The Edge of U2 and The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Councillor Catherine Byrne.

After the unveiling there was a a free outdoor concert on the Square, featuring Rory tribute band A Taste Of Rory from Dublin.

Amongst those pictured are Rory's brother Donal Gallagher, who was on hand to say a few words, A Tast Of Rory, and hundreds who'd came out to pay their respects.
